Applied Water Solutions was contacted by a client who planned to move their manufacturing facility to an area where there is strict limitations on water discharge. Working close with the client we created a process flow diagram (PFD) using multiple water purification technologies that provided pure water generation, water recycling capabilities and offsite disposal of solids. From the PFD we then created a Process Instrument Diagram (P&ID) that defined the project in more detail. The project was executed with a complete set of submittals of all major components, fabrication of equipment, site acceptance test (SAT) and commissioning of the system. The system has been in operation since 2008 meeting all the clientsÂ’ expectations.
